About PrejudiceTracker™

It's an anti-prejudice app that offers real-time, worldwide, crowdsourced reporting on incidents of prejudice, discrimination, and persecution.

The PrejudiceTracker™ App launches soon for iPhone and Android. It is the first and only crowdsourced tracking system to report, monitor, and measure acts of prejudice, persecution, and discrimination around the world.

Victims and observers can report and describe the type and severity of human vs. human acts of prejudice. From school and social media bullying to sexual orientation or racially motivated slurs and discrimination, from economic maltreatment to verbal abuse, from a show of rudeness to acts of violence, PrejudiceTracker creates a record of the event, empowers the victim and puts the perpetrator on notice.

Hear it, See it, Report it, Change the World!

PrejudiceTracker is a project so bold, so ambitious, so idealistic that it might just really change the world. It is all up to you.

From a human condition point of view, PrejudiceTracker may be the most important project ever on Indiegogo.

PrejudiceTracker has the potential to improve the lives of millions of people from countries around the world and from every race, religion, ethnicity and sexual orientation, and with every disability, body type, and socio-economic condition.

Think of PrejudiceTracker™ as Foursquare, Yelp, and Waze rolled into one, but not for the purpose of rating a restaurant or finding a quick way home. This digital platform aims to protect victims by exposing the perpetrators of prejudice, injustice, discrimination , abuse, and violence. It is designed to establish a record of each event, provide data to others that want to help, and encourage kindness and the more positive side of humanity.

THE POWER IN EVERYONE’S HANDS

Millions of acts of prejudice and discrimination occur around the world every single day. They range from verbal insults to unspeakable acts of violence. Most go unreported but all are noticed, even if only by the persecuted and victimized. It is time the world took notice and action. The new free app, PrejudiceTracker™, does exactly that.

Victims and observers can report and describe the type and severity of human vs. human acts of prejudice. From school and social media bullying to sexual orientation or racially motivated slurs and discrimination, from economic maltreatment to verbal abuse, from a show of rudeness to acts of violence, and from cases of human trafficking and slavery to genocide, PrejudiceTracker™ creates a record of the event, empowers the victim and puts the perpetrator on notice.

Identified by category and incident type, reported as to date, time and location, and described in the victim or observer's own words, Prejudice Tracker has the potential to become a powerful tool in the war against prejudice, discrimination, abuse and violence.

Browsers can view an interactive map of incidents around the world and sort by geography and severity of the incident. Historical data, including both macro data telling the big picture and micro data showing specific incidents, are all available. The user can generate charts, watch trends, and suggest new categories and types of prejudice to be included and tracked.

For the victim, this means a place to tell their story, to vent, heal, fight back, and have some control. For the observer of an event, it is a forum to share their experiences and make a positive impact on the world. For the perpetrator, it is exposure—a chance to comprehend the negativity of the incident they caused, to understand the effect on their victim and feel responsibility, and perhaps to even grow and change their ways.

For the rest of us, PrejudiceTracker™ is a blend of reality and information and an opportunity to help those in need. This free App will become a record of what prejudice looks like around the globe. An indispensable guide for understanding, learning, teaching, and changing the face of prejudice worldwide, one incident, one victim, and one prejudice at a time. Now prejudice in all forms can be tracked, challenged, fought, and stopped.

“Prejudice. It's a bad thing. Once your mind is prejudiced, you will not think beneath or beyond. Actually, you will stop thinking.”
